Welcome to Elshalom-Bern app! Elshalom Evangelical Church – Bern (Switzerland) has been an active fellowship since the beginning of 2003 to Ethiopians and Eritreans Evangelical Christians living in Switzerland – Bern. Although the members of our church come from different countries, despite the diversity of our nationalities, language and historical armed hostility, we decided to focus on our new Christian identity and spiritual unity. Therefore, we worship and serve the God of peace as reconciled community through the cross of Christ.
The church is ruled by the full time Senior Pastor and the elders elected by the general assembly. The leaders of the church are accountable to Jesus Christ the Head of the Church and the general assembly who recognize their spiritual maturity, teaching ministry and leadership responsibility as given from God.

Vision and Mission: -
- Worshiping our God through holy lives, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, witness and service.
- Nurturing the saints in the Word of God for the edification of their spiritual life so as to grow in faith and hope and love.
- Carrying out Christ’s Great Commission through proclamation of the Gospel in word and deeds among Ethiopian and Eritrean communities as well as to every race and nation.
- Be prepared for the second coming our Lord Jesus.
- Collaborating with Churches and other organizations that have a common vision and purpose to advance the kingdom of God.
